COVID19 Notice

STATEMENT REGARDING EURO LANGUAGES COLLEGE OPERATIONS SUMMER 2022

Throughout Summer 2021, Euro Languages College successfully ran six Residential Languages Courses for hundreds of students in boarding schools around Ireland. Ahead of the commencement of each course, all staff members and students had to undergo a PCR test carried out within 72 hours prior to their arrival. On receipt of a negative result, each individual began the course. Antigen tests were repeated on-site at different intervals during the 18 days to ensure the safety of students, staff, and the community as a whole.

We are delighted to say that the precautions and steps that were put in place ensured that no students or staff member contracted Covid 19 during the residential language courses.

Euro Languages College plan to run all Residential Languages Courses in Summer 2022, these will be run in full compliance with the public health measures outlined by the Department of Health and the HSE at the following venues:

• St. Flannan’s College. Ennis, Co. Clare
• Cistercian College Roscrea, Co. Offaly.
• Bandon Grammar School, Bandon, Co. Cork.
• Wilsons Hospital School, Multyfarnham, Co. Westmeath.
• Villiers School, Limerick City.
• Clongowes Wood College, Clane, Co. Kildare

Euro Languages College will meet all guidelines and directives as set out by the Department of Public Health in the following categories:

• Physical or Social Distancing
• Students wearing Face Masks
• Increased hand washing and sanitising
• Enhanced cleaning regimes
• Staggered breaks and lunch times
• Daily temperature checks (if required)

Euro Languages College have a Covid-19 Policy Statement, and all students and staff will be required to comply with the policy. The policy includes how to manage contact tracing, risk assessment policy, management guidelines, checklist for cleaning and a policy on how to deal with a suspected case of Covid-19.

Medical staff will be available on call. In the unlikely event, all colleges have the appropriate medical and dedicated sick bay facilities where students can isolate if necessary.

In the eventuality that Euro Languages College are unable to run Summer Courses in 2022 due to Covid-19, we will offer parents the opportunity of a full refund or defer until the following year.
Euro Languages College has been providing exceptional learning experiences to Irish students since 1989 and we look forward to continuing that tradition and supporting students again in Summer 2022.
