French, German and Spanish Residential Summer Courses
Euro Languages College’s residential language courses take place in various boarding schools around Ireland. It is our aim to provide an educational environment where students learn and enjoy themselves simultaneously.
Our courses are so structured and so well planned that nothing is left to chance. Supervision is provided at all times including class, activities, meal time and in the dormitories. Language learning on the course is not just confined to the classroom, but involves a variety of cultural, sporting and other recreational activities. A key objective is to lower anxiety levels so that students learn in a relaxed and informal way as students experience a French, German or Spanish speaking environment all day every day.

I just wanted to convey my sincere gratitude to the Spanish ELC team. My daughter completed a highly enjoyable and fun course again this year. She has spoken so highly of the assistants, managers and teachers for their very warm, friendly, open, fun and complimentary approach to the delivery of the course. The whole experience we believe not only advanced her understanding of Spanish but more importantly proved to be character building in the most positive way because of the very positive atmosphere that was created by the ELC team.

My 14-year-old daughter recently attended one of your 3-week French courses in Villiers, Limerick. I thought I would drop you an email to thank you for such an excellent and well-organized course! The whole team were excellent and so well prepared. She thoroughly enjoyed her 3 weeks at the school and made many new friends as well as significantly improving her French for Junior Cert next year. I wish you continued success in running these courses and hopefully we can send her on another course soon.

I just wanted to say a sincere thanks to you for all your help whilst my son was attending Clongowes French course. He had a fantastic time and enjoyed every aspect of the course: the classes, accommodation, wonderful manager and teachers, and extracurricular activities. Many thanks again and I wish you continued success.

I really loved my French College course in Roscrea. Everything was so well organised. Whether in class or in activities the staff helped us with our French all the time. We were cared for so well over the 3 weeks. I learned so much French and my grade improved on return to school. I wish I hadn't waited till 5th year to go as it was one of the best things I've ever done.

I have always had in interest in French after spending countless summers in France as a child, however the two ELC French courses I did as a teen really solidified my love for French. The thing I love most about ELC is that it gives you the full language and cultural immersion without the anxiety of going abroad. It has also given me friends for life and I am still in regular contact with those I met on both courses from all those years ago. Since then, I have gone on to complete a degree in Business, Economic and Social Studies (BESS) from Trinity College Dublin and in my third year, I had the opportunity to do an Erasmus in Rouen, France. I even returned to ELC last summer as an assistant course manager in order to spread my love for French and I was delighted to see the students' immense progress in the language over such a short period of time. Currently, I am completing a traineeship with the European Parliament in Luxembourg, where I use my French on a daily basis. None of this would have been possible if it was not for the language skills I learned in ELC. I strongly recommend anyone considering in doing a course to take the leap and sign up, you won't regret it!
