French Residential Summer Courses

Euro Languages College’s residential language courses take place in various boarding schools around Ireland. It is our aim to provide an educational environment where students learn and enjoy themselves simultaneously.

Classes will focus on all elements of the French language with a special focus on the Junior and Leaving Cert exam – grammar, written expression, comprehension and oral/aural skills. There is a mixture of conversational French which is essential for the oral exam with topics such as Moi-même, Ma famille, L’école, Les passe-temps, L’avenir.

French written topics covered will vary on class and level. Leaving Cert classes can expect to focus on the written expression section of the exam with interesting topical issues such as Technology,  Environment and Politics.

There will also be a focus on French culture such as French Geography, Cuisine and Film.

Our French Teachers and Animators (Activity Leaders) are a mixture of French natives and Irish French speakers. We have hired staff from a variety of Francophone countries such as France, Belgium, Switzerland and Canada. Our teachers are all qualified Irish Secondary School teachers or have the appropriate DELF qualification.
